Graphic Novels: Using personal experiences to generate story…and how to be brave.

Have you been considering turning your story into a graphic novel, but are deathly afraid of the format? Do you have ideas for a graphic novel, but are unsure on where or how to start? We’ll explore how memoirs or stories inspired by real-life experiences, are a perfect springboard into the medium. We’ll briefly discuss comic-making basics, process, pitching to agents/publishers and how to dive in!

Fees are non-refundable.

SCBWI members: $10 

Nonmembers: $15
